Gordon John Fagan 72 of Manchester passed away peacefully on 12.14.2023. He was the son of the late Thomas and Lorraine Fagan of East Hartford. He was born on October 17th 1951 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of George J. Penney High School class of 1971. Gordon started his career at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford before dedicating his life to working as a mental health worker.
Gordon will be remembered as a loving father and family man. He is survived by his daughter Nicole Fagan and her life partner Francis Merritt of Newington, his sister Susan Mercure/Fagan of Manchester, two niece's Christie Fagan of East Hartford and Mandie Fagan and her life partner Reid Mucci of Cromwell, three great niece's Mia Fagan, Myla Mucci, and Maci Fagan. Two great nephew's Madden and Macson Mucci. Beside his parents he was predeceased by his brother Thomas Fagan Jr. his nephew Isaiah Fagan, and his brother In-Law Robin Mercure.
Gordon had a passion for baseball and was a dedicated New York Yankee fan. He enjoyed spending time with his sister, reminiscing about their life's experiences, and had a knack for making others laugh with his stories and jokes. Music held a special place in his heart, encompassing all genres.
A Catholic Mass will be held on January 6, 2023 at 10:30AM @ Saint Christopher's Church located at 538 Brewer Street in East Hartford. Following the ceremony, a celebration of Gordon's life will take place at Saint Christopher's Hall, attached to the Church.
