Hayden Pratt, 89, passed away peacefully at home in Glastonbury on September 11, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Katharine (Willard), their son, Daniel, his wife Rebecca Balder, and two grandchildren, Alex and Luka. He also leaves Elizabeth (Pratt) Lunny, Jeffery Pratt, and was predeceased by Steven Pratt.
Hayden was a longtime Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 540 in Glastonbury and spent many summers assisting the Camp Director at June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation in Ashford. Hayden was active at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in South Glastonbury as a Verger and was on the Board of Directors for the United Council of Churches Interfaith Housing acting as their Treasurer. Services will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in South Glastonbury at a date and time to be announced. There will be no calling hours and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke’s Church or June Norcross Webster.
