Howard Edward Cooke Jr, age 71, of Manchester, CT, a servant of his Mighty Lord, left this earth and ascended into His arms on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Hartford Hospital.
Born June 17,1950 in Wakefield, RI to Howard Edward Cooke and Alice Viola Tisdale, he graduated from Chariho Regional High School, then continued his education at Johnson & Wales University in Providence at the age of 36 and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in management.
Howard married Doreen Margaret Judson on June 20, 1970.
He was a member of Bible Fellowship Church in Sebring, FL before moving to CT last year. He was a deacon serving alongside many others and loved helping people when they needed something done that he could do.
He loved reading his Bible, motorcycles, antiquing, doing projects, and just hanging out with family, telling them jokes, acting like a kid to make them laugh. He attended many baseball games, sold baseball cards for years at shows and collected many signatures of baseball players.
Howard is survived by his wife, Doreen(Judson) Cooke, of 51 years, and four children: Matthew, Michael (Michele), April, and Amy. He leaves eight grandchildren, Carl, Akeem, Christopher, Amber, Kyleigh, Michaela, Kasia and Dakota. along with 7 great grandchildren: Kaleb, Jaeden, Rowan, Eretria, Nola, Alivia, and Ariella. He leaves one sister, Marie.
A memorial service has not been scheduled at this time.
