Jacqueline Bourgoin 1937-2021

Jacqueline Bourgoin “Becky”, 83, beloved wife of 65 years to Gilbert Bourgoin, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2021, at her home in Northford.

She was born in Van Buren, Maine to the late Antoine and Theresa Thibodeau on November 30, 1937. She and Gilbert were high school sweethearts and were married in 1956. She lived briefly at the Whiting Field Naval base in Milton Florida before settling in Windsor Locks CT and then was a longtime resident of Broad Brook before moving to Northford twelve years ago. Becky was a loving and devoted mother and homemaker for many years. She then worked at the family business, The Bourgoin Insurance Agency, in East Windsor

for several years before her retirement. She was an avid Red Sox fan, loved to play card games, watching her soap operas and lottery scratch tickets. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Her greatest joy came from the time spent talking and laughing while gathering at the kitchen table with family and friends.

In addition, to her husband, Becky leaves her daughter Patricia Vine and her husband Alan Vine of Wallingford; Son Michael Bourgoin and his wife Dawn Bourgoin of Broad Brook; Daughter Diane Mangini of East Windsor; Daughter Brenda Waterhouse and her husband Rick of Windsor Locks; Son Bill Bourgoin and his wife Brenda of Ellington; Sister Marlene Breton of Van Buren, Maine, Sister Greta Sirois of East Windsor; Sister Monica Dubay of Van Buren Maine. Eleven Grandchildren, Daniel Mangini, Anthony Lovett, Becky Krach, Robert Vine, Kristina Vine, Kevin Vine, Mallory Devin , Bethany Bourgoin, Greg Bourgoin, Riley Bourgoin and Kyle Bourgoin. Two great grandchildren, Isaiah and Noah; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Maydelle Lapointe of East Windsor and Roger Thibodeau of East Windsor.
