James Candido Busa

James Candido Busa, 79, of Meriden, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, Tuesday December 12th, 2023.

James was a lifelong resident of Meriden. Born February 29th, 1944, to the late Candido “John” Busa and Antonia Busa (Stokas). He worked for Pratt and Whitney for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife Linda Busa (Campbell) having been married for 55 years. He is also survived by his 3 sons, James Busa and wife Sandra of Monroe, Christopher Busa and wife Darcy of Bristol, and Danny Busa and partner Carol of Meriden, and his grandchildren Kyle, Danny, Ethan, CJ, Maxton, Victoria, and Christian and Noah Silva, his sisters Joanne and the late Allan Stocking, Athena “Tina” and the late Gary Bernardini, Judy Shelton and Karen Busa, his brothers, the late Richard Busa and wife Donna, and Candido “John” Busa and wife Valerie, and his many nieces and nephews.

If you don’t see him working on one of his near impossible puzzles, you can usually find him walking his dog Lucky or working in his yard. He could easily get lost trying to find something is his garage, where he would say he knows where he can find anything. He loved his family. He was a very kind and selfless man, who always made sure his family had what was needed.

There will be no services, a private celebration of his life will be had at a later date.

Our deepest and sincere condolences to the family. For as long as we’ve lived on this street, you’ve been our next door neighbor. We will certainly miss seeing you around. Thinking of you and keeping the family in our prayers during this time.
