Janette M. McLean of Newington entered into eternal rest on October 12, 2024. She was born in Biddeford, Maine on September 12, 1947 to the late Joseph and Priscilla Ouellette of Sinclair, Maine. She grew up in Sinclair and in her late teens moved to Connecticut where she started her family.
She worked for Skinner Valve as a machinist in New Britain before retiring in 1991. Janette enjoyed walking and swimming. She loved animals especially our dog Ashley with whom she shared lots of nose kisses. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Newington.Janette was also known as Jean to family and friends and Mimi to her grandchildren.Janette is survived by her children Priscilla Michaud and Thomas Lee of Newington and Peter Lee of South Carolina; her siblings Pauline Davis, Marie Ouellette, Delores Begley, Edward Ouellette and his wife Mary; ; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Ouellette; her grandchildren Mindy Michaud, Kaylee Ouellette, Lauren Lee, and Jonathan Lee; her great grandchildren Riley, Logan, Valentina, and Noah.She is predeceased by her son Kenneth Ouellette; her sister Evelyn Ouellette; her brother Lane Ouellette.
Janette will be deeply missed but will live in our hearts forever.
