Jeannot R. Rossignol Jr.

Jeannot R. Rossignol Jr. of Cromwell, CT, left his earthly home to be with the Lord on May 5th 2025. His loss was sudden and leaves an indelible mark on his four beloved children, Faith (19), Natalie (16), Julia (13), and Joshua (11). They were the Light of his Life and he spoke so proudly of them every chance he got. His children were his purpose.

Jeannot was a veteran of our Armed Forces and also a graduate of church seminary at Bible Baptist Church in Cromwell; he studied Koine Greek and the book of Genesis alongside Faith who was 8 at the time.  He also leaves behind his sisters, Michele Kerry (CT), Rachelle Rossignol (NC), a brother, Robert Rossignol (NC), his nephews, Zachary Shea and wife Ashley (NC), Andrew Laflamme (CT), Jeffrey Shea and wife Stormy (NC), Nathan Laflamme (CT), Allen Morrill and wife Kady (NC), Brian Morrill (NC), Matthew Laflamme (CT), along with several great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is pre-deceased by his Father, Jeannot R. Rossignol, and Mother, Johanna M. Rossignol (formerly Post).

Jeannot had the most contagious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor. Sharp witted, big hearted, stubborn about some things but always willing to hear new ideas and have deep conversations about things that mattered to him.

Jeannot persevered in the face of adversity, and always put his best foot forward. He was a proud man and guarded his heart, but those who knew him well, knew he was kind and caring and deeply feeling.

He was fiercely protective of his beloved children, and determined to be the best Father and role model he could be.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gino,

I’m still trying to wrap my head (and heart) around the fact that your gone from this earth. I’ve known you almost all my life and even though there were sometimes years in between reconnections everytime we did it was like picking up right where we left off. I will never forget all the fun crazy times we all had in our teens and early twenties. I will never forget the many many laughs, the hysterical impressions you used to do, the random movie lines that we all used to shoot back and forth, and knowing that even though you were “made of steel” you had the weakest stomach of anyone I knew. I will never forget all the…

Carrie,

It’s Michele, Jeno’s sister. You described him PERFECTLY . He did the best impressions, and he was always the funniest guy in the room. Always.

Thank you for your words. They brought back memories for me of my little brother, that were tucked away.

He definitely was a stand up guy, and had the weakest stomach out of everyone I ever know EXCEPT my father, and ME. lol

It must run in the family.

Gino "G Money",

I am thankful for the time that over the past year and a half that you were able to rekindle your friendship with my husband Bill. It was that "Happy Thanksgiving" text that brought not only you, but your kids back into mine and my kids lives, to which we quickly realized, they had acted like no time had passed. From Kylen thinking Natalie was now her new best friend instead of Julia who used to always carry her around, to Maci and Kylee Mae fighting over whose room Natalie and Julia would sleep in when they slept over. Natalie shared such a nice picture with me of you, her and Julia at her prom the weekend…

My brother in Christ. You are in such a good place now, and I am happy for that. But selfishly I would have liked to had more time and so much wanted to get you down here to Tennessee! You were a good friend, and I pray the Lord watches over the kids!
