I Corinthians 15:57

Jeffrey Scott Vainwright passed away February 6, 2023 with his loving wife Misty of twenty-one years by his side. As a pilot, Jeff was a lover of all things aeronautical. He had a tremendous gift for growing and nurturing plants and animals. He also loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle with his wife. Jeff was a lifelong history enthusiast. Jeff excelled as a facilities manager within various industries. He will most be remembered for his love and dedication to his family and his one of a kind passionate beautiful soul.


He is survived by Misty Vainwright, his devoted wife of 21 years. Children: Trent, Harley, Wyatt, Jeff Jr., Melanie and husband Chris, Logan, honorary son Chris Lain. Parents: Mother, Salle Moore and Step Father,Richard W. Moore. SIblings (Sisters): Susan and husband Dave Hesse, Amy and husband Matt Michancyk, Mary Kay Doane. In-laws: “mother-in-law” Carolyn Umberger, Sister-in-law Selena Charles, Brother-in-law Seth Matney and his wife Vanessa. Grandchildren: Jeffrey, Lauren, Nathan, Madelyn, Cayne, Alexander and Nicholas. Great grandchildren: Bailey, Victor Jr. and Ariya. Nieces and Nephews: Abby Wilson and husband Charlie with children Emma, Olivia, Allie, and Georgia; David, Sam, and Nathan Hesse: Matthew with his wife Kelly, Joseph, and Ashley Michanczyk, Hannah and Emily Doane, and his best buddy (dog) “Ozzie Boy”.


A Celebration of Jeff’s extraordinary life will be held at a later date. Misty and his children would like to thank the VNHSC Hospice Team and Emily Lewis of Igniting Hope.


1 Corinthians 15:51-52

“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the

twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised

incorruptible, and we will be changed.”
