Jessica Woodstock

Jessica Margaret Woodstock, born on December 4, 1992, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2025, at the age of 32. Her sudden departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Jessica was a 2010 graduate of The Morgan School in Clinton and spent much of her working life as a dedicated certified nurse’s aide, offering compassion and care to those in need. Over the years she touched the lives of countless patients, and aspired to one day return to college to become a nurse or social worker. 

Jessica was a gifted writer with a sharp intellect and a heart full of dreams. Her words often revealed a deep well of emotion and knowledge, as well as insight to her life struggles. She was creative, complex, and full of potential. Despite her struggles with mental illness and addiction, Jessica never stopped fighting, and had just celebrated her two year anniversary of sobriety on July 16th. The daily persistence, strength, restraint and courage she showed over the past two years is something her loved ones will always remember and admire.

Jessica is survived by her father, Daniel Maher of Clinton, and his wife, Pamela, as well as her siblings Shannon and Matthew. She is also survived by her mother, Christina Dufour of Middletown, siblings Aaron and Paige, grandmother Alberta (Robert) Woodstock of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.   Jessica's life, though marked by hardship, was also filled with moments of love, resilience, and beauty that will not be forgotten.

Jessica will be remembered for the good times, when her true compassion, spirit, creativity, and love were able to shine.

Private arrangements are being handled by Abbey Funeral & Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Jessica's name to organizations supporting mental health and addiction recovery.
