John Diaz, age 64, of Vernon, passed away peacefully on Thursday September 8, 2022 at Touchpoints of Manchester Nursing Home.
He was born in Hartford, CT on February 24,1958. To know John was to love him, and he was loved by everyone he ever came into contact with. He was always the life of the party, always making everyone laugh, and of course had a wicked sense of humor. His most favorite thing to do, besides watching Yankees baseball games, was spending time with his family and friends. But most of all, he loved all of his family and friends with his whole heart. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for the ones he loved. He will always be remembered for the good times and memories we all had and shared with him. Although these last few years have been difficult for him, he was still in good spirits. He is now at peace.
His is survived by his brothers and sisters, Dolores Diaz (Peggy) of Lucasville, OH, Gladys Rodriguez (Antonio) of New Britain, CT, Ana Rodriguez (Edwin), of Palm Bay, FL, Felix Diaz (Patricia) of East Hartford, CT, Teresita Palomino (David) of Gulfport, MS, Enrique Diaz (Brenda) of East Hampton, CT, Jose Diaz (Kathy) of Manchester, CT and countless nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by his parents, Natividad Diaz and Concepcion Diaz, and his brothers Angel Luis Diaz and Natividad Diaz Jr.
There will be a small private gathering to celebrate his life at a later date.
