Dear Family and Friends,
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of John F. Urban of Wallingford, who passed away on April 27, 2026, at 5:41 am, surrounded by his family.
John was, above all, a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an avid NASCAR follower, a dedicated collector of Hot Wheels, and he cherished the time spent fishing and camping with his family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by everyone who knew him.
John is survived by his partner in life, Kathleen Malone; his children, Meghan Urban (Sam Harris) and Jacob Urban (Cristine Cyr); his grandchildren, Katelynn Couture (Jessie Brown) and Christopher McGirl (Brittany Garcia); and his great-grandchildren, Cody Cyr, Sean Urban, Jaxon Brown, Grayson Urban, and Kiernan Brown. He is also survived by Sheila Malone.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to VITAS Hospice for the fantastic care and support John received.
