John Frank Krzysiak, 83, of Haines City Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 29, 2023.
John was born in Detroit to the late Joseph Krzysiak and Angeline Lew. After graduating from Pershing High, he joined the Army and married his high school sweetheart, Judy. He then spent his career as a publisher for a mechanical design magazine. In retirement, John loved to cook and chat with whoever crossed his path in life (especially if it was about his Polish heritage or Michigan football). Both of which led him to put together a family cookbook and create a monthly community newsletter “ChitChat”. He was loved by many and everyone who knew John felt his big heart and giving nature.
John was preceded in death by his son Kenneth, both parents, brother Joe and sister Nancy. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 62 years Judy, his children Brad (Liz) Krzysiak and Beth (Todd) Watkins, his grandchildren Devin, Emily, Sam, Audrey, and Jon who all affectionately called him Jaja. He is also survived by his sister Marilyn Kowalski, his brother Nick (Penny) Krzysiak, and many nieces and nephews.
We knew John from his Sun Air days. He was a funny person to talk to. His knowledge of just about anything was amazing. We looked forward to his newspaper Chit Chat. Wondering what words of wisdom we would find in it. We send our condolences to his wife Judy and all the family. Rest is Peace dear friend....Bob and Carole McGuire
Uncle Johnny was a gregarious wonderful person who we always shared a common bond with the inner workings of the engineering world in metro Detroit. He marketed to these people and they loved him and his expertise within his various publications. My wife Lori Hill adored him as her Godfather. We shared a lot, despite the miles between us. From his fabulous family cookbook where he poked fun at me, to just chatting about "things". He touched all our lives in the most wonderful way and I'm so glad he was in my life. A good man. I will always cherish him and who he was. Godspeed Uncle Johnny. ❤️
