Jon M. Blair, 57, succumbed from COVID 19 on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT. Born in Springfield, MA on February 11, 1963, Jon lived for 35 years at the Coppermill Group Home in Wethersfield, CT.
A heartfelt thank you and deepest gratitude to the staff at Coppermill who have loved and cared for Jon over the years. They will especially miss his beautiful blue eyes, broad smile, and contagious laugh.
Jon was predeceased by his parents and sister Jinny. He is survived by his sisters Pamela (Tom) McGuigan of Guilford, CT, Sheila (Ron) Duncan of El Cajon, CA, Karen (Richard) Authier of Springfield, MA, and Colleen (Rob) Carter of East Machias, ME.
A special thank you to Dr. Alvi, Dr. Rashid, Dr. P. Sullivan, and the nurses at St. Francis for their kindness and compassion in caring for Jon at this most difficult time.
Arrangements made by Brooklawn Funeral Home, Rocky Hill, CT. Burial will be private and a service will be held at a later date in Guilford, CT.
