It is with great sadness the family of Joshua S. Ray, 41, born on Dec.14,1982 in Manchester, announce his unexpected passing on Friday Nov. 22, 2024 at home. He is survived by his daughter/ light of his life Olivia S. Ray his loving companion Sarah Foley and her son Michael. His loving mother Janice (Smith) Ray and siblings, Rebecca L. Ray and Matthew T. Ray. His father/wife Thurston S. (Kim) Ray. Grandparents William and Meredith Ray. Many loving aunts and uncles and cousins. He also leaves his true bestfriend and side kick Kristofor Chokas.
We all know Joshua as fun loving and the life of the party. To honor his memory we'd invite friends and family to join us on Dec. 14, 2024 at Manchester Elks Lodge, 30 Bissell st Manchester Ct. from 1 to 5 for celebration of life.
My Condolences to the entire Ray Family, I've known Josh every since he was a little boy. He was friends with my sons Snoopy,Snapper and Kevin. May Josh rest peaceful in heaven. Please let me know if you need anything. I'll see you on the 14th. God Bless you All 🙏

Last time I spoke to Josh was just after my divorce like 2010. He suggested a career shift. lol. The job I was working at the time eventually turned coat on me. Rest in peace young sir.
