Judith Katherine Stavnitski of Wallingford, CT died peacefully on May 13, 2022. She was born February 6, 1952 to Andrew F. & Bertha Daniels and raised in Fairfield, CT where she resided most of her life. Judi was a devoted wife & mother. Married & best friend to Kenneth W. Stavnitski for 53 years, they joyfully raised 3 children together; Danielle M. Stavnitski, Kennth W. Stavnitski Jr. and Amanda C. Volturno. Judith adored and doted on her 4 grandchildren; Holley Stavnitski, Hanna Stavnitski, Raine Volturno & Daisy Volturno. She leaves behind her children’s spouses whom she also loved dearly, Joseph Schroder, Kristyn Stavnitski and Vincent Volturno.
Judith is pre-deceased by her brother Robert Daniels & sister in law Betsy Stavnitski. She is survived by her brother Donald Daniels and sister Andrea Bria. She will be missed by respective in-laws Barbara Daniels & Grace Daniels and also her nieces and nephews Glenn, Ellen, Dawn Marie, Robert Jr., Damon, Andrew, Faye, Randy, Shawn, Ann, David & Bobby along with their families. She also remains in the hearts of her husband’s siblings George Stavnitski, Barbara Donahue & husband Bing Donahue.
A “mom” to many, she always opened her heart and her home to countless extended family and friends. As an amazing cook, baker, artist, crafter, seamstress gardener, neighbor & friend; she generously lent her time, talents, recipes and energies to anyone who was in need or desire. Judi was the “glue” of her family and loved genuinely and unconditionally. She was a fun-loving spirit with a talent for bringing people together. All who knew her would agree that it was a privilege and a blessing to have done so. All of our hearts will be forever changed with her passing.

So many beautiful memories come flooding into my mind. Each one as wonderful as the last. I feel so blessed to have been on this journey with you my precious Auntie. Prayers up for all who love you.
So Sad to hear this. I often thought of her when driving on Mill Plain Rd, passing her house...We had many good times together. Judy was full of light and laughter. Many blessings and much love to your family ❤️
