Kathleen Ensch Bennett, affectionately known to many as Kathy or “Midnite,” passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on January 30, 1957, Kathy lived a life filled with creativity, compassion, unwavering love, and deep devotion to her family and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Anita and Edward Ensch; her cherished daughter, Indi Barringer; and her beloved grandson, Tyler DeRemo.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Jared (Carlina Davis) Ramsdell; her grandchildren, Krisstina (Colton) Haynes, Jeremiah Ramsdell, Izaiah Ramsdell, and Brianna Bennett; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Ayvaleigh Haynes, Grayson Haynes, and soon-to-arrive Quinlee Haynes, whom she was excited to welcome into the family.
As the youngest of eight siblings, Kathy shared a special bond with each of them and was deeply loved by her entire family. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were touched by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
Kathy found joy in all things music and art. She had a gifted creative spirit and expressed herself through writing, drawing, and creating beautiful artwork. Whether through a heartfelt conversation, a comforting embrace, or simply being present during life’s most difficult moments, Kathy had a remarkable way of making others feel seen, heard, and loved. She never hesitated to stand beside those she cared about, offering strength, encouragement, and hope whenever it was needed most.
Above all else, Kathy’s greatest love was her family and friends. The relationships she built and the compassion she shared will remain her lasting legacy. Though she is no longer with us, her love, creativity, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
In accordance with Kathy’s wishes, her family will be holding a Celebration of Life in Florida following the birth of her great-granddaughter, Quinlee Haynes. Details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.

I still feel you Aunty. I saw a cardinal with Pookie the other day in the strangest place near the busy road. It was just looking at us. We both just knew you sent it….. I’ll always miss you and our long conversations. Please kiss my cousins from me, until we meet again. ♥️
