Kathlyn L. Franklin-Hamilton

June 15, 1950 - April 23 2026 

Kathlyn L. Franklin-Hamilton, (also lovingly known as NANA) at the graceful  age of 75 passed away peacefully with her beloved dog chancy-Boii, April 23rd, 2026. She was and always will be the glue to our family. May the love of her Family, Dogs, Flowers and Fashion live vibrantly in all of us!

Kathlyn was born June 15th 1950 in New London, Ct. Kathlyn was preceded by her parents Marcella and George Wood, her brothers Dickie Wood and Robert Wood. Survived by her sister Marge  Marquand, Bruce Wood and her husband Neal Hamilton. 

Kathlyn’s LIGHT in life were her sons- David Franklin, Jake Hamilton; Her beautiful Grand Children Kathee Foley, Ashley Foley, Michael Foley Jr, Staci Foley, Ryan Hamilton, Zach Hamilton, David Franklin Jr, Lexi Kuz, and Cierra Myers.  

She adored her Great Grandchildren Julius, Juliana, Quincianna, Raymone, Henry, Karabella, Jeremiah, and Josie. 

Also her many cousins, nieces and nephews who knew her as “AUNT K” and they did and always will forever hold a special place in her heart. 

Please take comfort in knowing that Kathlyn is in heaven dancing and “Strait Mobbing” with her beloved sons Larry Foley and Michael Foley.

 Every time you see a Yellow rose, a Blue jay, a Cardinal or a Butterfly know that Kathlyn; A.K.A “MOM, NANA, Aunt K” is watching over you.

We will also be having the Celebration of Kathlyn’s 76th birthday and celebration of life
