Kelli Lynn Nelson Shores, 51, of Manchester, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of William M. Shores of Manchester, and the daughter of Carol A. Nelson, of Vernon, and the late Kimble W. Nelson, of Newington.
Kelli was predeceased by her brother Christopher W. Nelson of Hartford, her paternal grandparents, Oliver and Gaynelle Nelson of Newington, and her maternal grandparents, Anthony and Anne Stanulis of Hartford.
Kelli attended Naylor school in Hartford for grade school, and then Timothy Edwards and South Windsor High School, graduating in 1989. She was employed by Kaiser Permanente for many years and has, for the last twenty plus years, been employed by United Healthcare/Optum.
Kelli is survived by her beloved husband, William M. Shores, her loving sister, Corrine A. Larson, of Vernon, now South Carolina, her mother-in-law, Rose Shores and wife, Noreen Lavette, her beloved golden retriever, Maci Lee, her Step-mother, Elaine Nelson of Newington, her Godfather, Bryan Nelson and his wife Sharon, of Berlin, and her Godmother, Joan Dubin-Steinen, of Hartford, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.
There are no plans for a memorial service at this time. The family asks that Kelli be remembered by those who loved her in their own private way. Those who wish to make a memorial donation, are requested to do so in her name, to your favorite charity.
“Soar with angels, sweet soul. You have our hearts always”.
I am so sad to hear of Kelli's passing. I have a lot of fond memories of Kelli, and I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
Steve
