Laverne Mildred Elizabeth Davis, 51 of Norwich, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 13th, 2021. She was born on March 17th, 1970 in Ledyard, CT to Janet E. Blake and Basil J. Agayoff.
Laverne will be sorely missed by all that were lucky enough to have her light in their life. She was a friend to many and loved to share advice along with laughs and some tough love. When she was not working, you would catch her bopping along to classic country music or spoiling her three granddaughters who she adored.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years Arthur L. Davis Jr, her daughter Latasha Sharp of Voluntown, CT and her three daughters Alana, Lilah, and Alessandra, her son Antionious Brown Jr. of Jewett City, CT, her sister and inseparable other half Florence Lyon of Moosup, CT and three children who she was a second mom to Allen Lyon, Caden Lyon, and Janet Blake, Brothers Wayne Blake of Occum, CT and Russell Stockton of Bozrah, CT and their children.
She is predeceased by her mother Janet E. Blake, father Basil J. Agayoff, and nephew Justin Lyon.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date with details to be shared soon.
