Linda Maria Rodriguez

It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, Linda Maria Rodriguez who passed away at home on February 12, 2025, at the age of 59 years. 

Linda was born in New York to Dora and Pablo Rodriguez. She moved to Connecticut to raise her children. Linda is survived by her children Melinda (Luis “Little”), Melvin “Jr” (Aive), Bonnie (Chris) and her 6 grandchildren: Luis, Adrian, Malia, Christopher, Elena, and Kali. 

“Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let works bring her praise at the city gate.”- Proverbs 31:31

Linda lived her life against the grain, proving she could do anything if she tried. She never limited herself to societal norms. Linda was a beautiful and creative soul. She expressed herself through various forms of art. Her favorite activity was dancing to her love language of music. While she didn’t have much, she made sure that those in need had plenty. Her acts of selflessness, kindness and passion-infused efforts made her loved by many. 

Linda did not want her friends and loved ones to mourn her death. She wanted them to celebrate her life. There will be a celebration of life ceremony at a later date. Please feel free to direct message Melinda or Bonnie for more information.
