Linda Mary Tyler

Linda Mary Tyler (Trickett), 83, died at home attended by family on January 7, 2026, after a difficult fight with renal cancer.

Linda was born in Rossendale and then lived in Grange-over-Sands, England, before emigrating to the USA with her family, Derek, Louise & Rachel in April 1968. The family resided in Cheshire, CT for 53 years before moving to Clinton, CT in 2020. A competitive equestrian in her youth with a BS degree in Physiotherapy, Linda practiced with Easter Seals, Gaylord & Hamden Visiting Nurses.

A loving and treasured wife of 62 years, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, she will always be remembered for her refined dress taste, her love of hats, a quick wit and wry sense of humor. Interment was private. A Celebration of Life is being arranged for Spring. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
