Lloyd Leonard Braman II

Lloyd Leonard (Cowboy) Braman II of Coventry, Connecticut, passed away 

with his wife at his side on September 15, 2026 leaving behind his loving family and many cherished memories. 

Lloyd was born on January 15, 1976 in Yuma, Arizona. At six months old, he and his mother moved home to Connecticut.

Lloyd was a happy child who loved playing with all his hot wheels. That started a lifelong love of anything with wheels and an engine but his real loves were motorcycles and Camaros. At last count he had owned more than 49 Camaros and countless motorcycles. He was an avid rider since childhood and rode every chance he got, even throughout the winter.

After years of planning, on June 22, 2024, he officially started his own motorcycle club "Justified". Of all of his accomplishments aside from his daughter, it is the one that he was most proud of and that meant the most to him. 

He was a master painter by trade but also worked in the construction industry for most of his career. He was an experienced picker and had an eye for buying low and selling high, whether it was the smallest trinket or the largest truck. 

Lloyd never did anything small.

His love of music prompted him to have over 800 CDs and cassette tapes. He had a collection of diecast cars that rival some museums. His garages were filled with classic cars, motorcycles and enough toolboxes and tools to open his own store.

Lloyd loved animals and children. They all seemed to gravitate to him. He had a strong belief in protecting those that could not always protect themselves.  It came  as no surprise to many that through the years he and his wife took in many kids that needed help. He taught them respect, work ethics and life lessons. Upon his death, every one of them have called to credit him for making them the productive adults they had become. 

Lloyd was known for his fierce loyalty to those he loved, his contagious smile and his wonderful bear hugs.

His death has left an entire community shocked and saddened but none more than his wife. Although together 18 years they would've celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary just days after his death. 

Lloyd leaves his loving wife Marjorie Schwartz Braman, his mother Anna Naamah Braman, father Lloyd Leonard Braman, daughter Courtney Jean Haynes, goddaughter and niece Amanda Rhoule (James) sisters Bianca Gagne, Samantha Munson(Dave) brother John Braman, sister-in-laws Ellen (Robert) Kliman, Allison (James) Wood, brother-in-laws George Cowles, Larry Golden, Danielle Warren, father-in-law H. Donald Golden, grandmother Bernadette Devlin, aunts Carol Cowles, Linda Hallisey and Theresa Perrone, uncles Arnie Braman, Michael Morton and Kelly Morton, cousin Cory Braman and best friend of 34 years Gilbert Soucy Jr.

He was predeceased by his grandparents MSGT William B. and Carol Anne Turlo, grandfather Leonard Charles Braman, uncle Jeffrey Braman, uncle Earl Cowles, nephew Dean Rice, cousin Dominick Burba, numerous nieces,  nephews, great nieces and nephews.

The family would also like to thank the ICU staff at Hartford Hospital for the incredible care they gave him.

There will be no services. A celebration of life to properly honor Lloyd will be planned.
