Lorna C. Pruyn, 85, of Lisbon, loving wife of James Pruyn, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Born in Hartford, on February 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Romolo and Concetta (Tarquino) Cerasoli.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Janet Lewis and her husband Gordon of Lebanon, Kathleen Kral and her husband Frederick of Lisbon, Edward Krapf, Jr. of Lebanon CT and her sister Joan Patlovich of Gainesville, FL. Lorna leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughters Joan Quinlan of NY and Jeannie Krapf of Ashford, brothers John Cerasoli of Avon, Anthony Cerasoli of West Hartford, Gerald Cerasoli of Palm City, FL and her sister Aida Savluk of Windsor.
Lorna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and a friend of many. She was always positive and energetic with a wonderful outlook on life. Lorna worked in the hospitality and food industry which overflowed into her home welcoming everyone with enthusiasm and plenty of great food. She loved working in her flower gardens which always grew larger and more beautiful each year.
The family will have a private celebration of life on January 22nd.
