Lorraine Busque

Lorraine (Ouellette) Busque, 92 of East Hampton, CT - formerly from Andover, CT - passed away at home on October 3, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Born and raised in East Hartford, CT, where she met her loving husband of 70 years - the late Dale A. Busque - they had a beautiful life together, traveling the world and working hard to achieve remarkable goals. Lorraine was a shining star wherever she went, whether it be her days in theater, her time with the Vintage Glider Association, the work she provided for the Andover Historical Society, or her time working at the State of Connecticut as a Personnel Officer. The warmth of her smile was one of a kind, and with it she carried love for all beings.

Lorraine was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will forever be missed by her family. Lorraine was predeceased by her loving husband Dale A Busque and her eldest son D. Keith Busque. Surviving are two sons and a daughter, Kyle K. Busque and his wife Patricia of Vernon, CT, Keven J. Busque and his wife Diane of Manchester, CT, Kathryn Busque Neville and her husband John Sarnik of East Hampton, CT.

Lorraine leaves behind 9 grandchildren: Ryan, Michelle, Cassandra, Julie, Kelly, Kacey, John, Kyra and Katelyn and 16 great grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart. The family would like to thank Hannah and everyone from Middlesex Health Hospice for the dedication, support, and kindness they gave while taking care of Lorraine. They would also like to thank One Patient at A Time and their team of caretakers; especially Aminah, who filled Lorraine’s final days with reading, laughter, and most of all the comfort and dignity she deserved.  The family will have a private memorial service for Lorraine.
