Lucille R. (Gaumond) Boilard, 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 22, surrounded by her family. Lucille is reunited with the love of her life, husband, Norman R. Boilard, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.
Lucille was born on January 2, 1937, in Southbridge, MA., to the late Leo and Marianna (Yvonne) Gaumond. Lucille is survived by her daughters Lorraine Baker (Anthony Giobbe) of Bethany, Linda (Matt) Dinnan of Hamden, and Lori (Scott) Rosborg of Bristol. Lucille is also survived by her loving grandchildren Courtney (Dave) Knapp, Matthew Dinnan, Daniel (Sophia) Rosborg, Mitchell Rosborg, and great grandson, Luke Knapp. Lucille was predeceased by her brother Jean Gaumond, and her sisters Rita Russell, Pauline Brousseau, and Annette Murphy.
Lucille worked for over 30 years for the Plainville school system as a food service provider and manager. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandson, whom she fondly cherished.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration mass for Lucille at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 6th at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Plainville, CT. Burial will be private.
