Margaret “Peggy” Elizabeth (Daniels) Dlubac, 85 of Unionville, wife of the late Joseph Dlubac passed away Monday 8/25/2025 at Sheriden Woods Rehab surrounded by her family. She was born in Hartford CT, daughter of the late John Daniels & Jeanette Daniels. She was predeceased by her sister Diane and survived by her sister Janet Wilson of Bristol. Peggy was a survivor of the great 55 flood along with her family. Peggy built her home with Joseph in 1960 in the little town of Unionville. She was fearless and kind. She drove the tractor pushing the earth as Joey built the foundation which would become the family home. Not much later gave birth to daughters Darlene and Lisa. The house was filled with love and wonderful memories.
Besides her daughter Darlene Yavis with husband Ken Yavis of Wethersfield she leaves daughter Lisa Repoli and (partner) John Moroch of Colchester. Also, her late son in law Rocky, and Rocky and Janets sons Lance and Troy and her grandson Troy Jr. Peggy had 3 granddaughters Brittany Martinez of Glastonbury with (husband) Brian Martinez, Mikala Repoli and (partner) Sal Esposito of Killingworth, Kristin Repoli of Middlefield. Her Great grandson Leo Martinez is the newest member of her heart. Peggy had so much love for her family and friends. She loved country music. She loved the holidays. Every season she and Joey would switch out the decor in the house to match the appropriate holidays. Her brotherin-law Gino Monteleone and his family were very important to her with their visits. Her cousin Jill Cabane of Unionville played a roll of support and laughter to Peggy and was well loved by her. Peggy left a Legacy of being the best Nana and loving mother and wife, she will be greatly missed by many friends and relatives. Her little furry dog Gypsy and her companion for the last many years with a heart of gold has a new home and will always have a heart full of love from Peggy.
Per Peggy’s wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service, she wishes that donations be made to your local animal shelter.
