Margaret "Peggy" Ann (Willette) Durso of East Windsor, Connecticut, passed away at the age of 75 after a life of love and devotion to her family. Born February 5, 1951, to Earl and Pauline Willette, Peggy grew up in East Hartford, Connecticut, where she attended Penney High School. In later years, she resided in northern Connecticut, cherishing the opportunity to be close to her beloved grandchildren.

Peggy was known for her incredible work ethic, often holding multiple jobs at the same time to

provide for her family. She worked for Generis Catering, The Hartford Insurance Company, Jonathan & Williams Advertising, and later worked for Tender Living Care.  Above all, she was deeply proud of her work operating an in-home daycare, where she cared for children like her own and delighted in serving them nutritious meals.  Throughout her professional life, she showed dedication and kindness for all.

Peggy had a love for reading, watching the Red Sox, thrift shopping, and spending time with her playful pup Rosie.  She treasured family traditions, such as making her mother's fudge and sharing homemade cookies each Christmas.  Peggy will be remembered for her thoughtful heart and love for family.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Raymond "Scooter" Willette of Presque Isle, Maine; her children, Kevin Mullaney of East Windsor, Jessica Trzaskos (Matthew) of Bristol, and Alexis Just of New London; and a loving circle of extended family and friends. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kevin, Kamryn, Calista, Sawyer, and Oliver, who brought her immeasurable joy.  She was preceded in death by parents and siblings, Timothy, Sandra, and Marilyn.

In accordance with Peggy's wishes, a private celebration of her life will be held by her family. Info on that to follow.
