Margaret (“Peggy”) R. Johnson

Margaret (“Peggy”) R. Johnson, 87, of Glastonbury, CT, (formerly of Middletown, CT) passed away on Monday, October 1, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. Born on April 22, 1937, to the late Raymond and Norinne Ruddy, she grew up in Hartford and West Hartford while spending summers at Black Point Beach in Niantic. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert L. Johnson and survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Johnson, and her husband Karl Warner, of Andover, MA, Maureen Johnson and her husband Timothy Howard of Hebron, and Patricia Boyer of Vineyard, UT as well as her brother Raymond Ruddy and his wife Marilyn.  “Maggie” was adored by her seven grandchildren, Colin, Maeve, and Meghan Howard, Alexandra and Jonathan Boyer, and Ava and Emma Warner. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Kathryn Johnson, and her brother John Ruddy.In honor of Peggy’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.
