Marilyn Elizabeth Eden

Marilyn Elizabeth Eden, 64, of Monroe, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2026, while under hospice care, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Marilyn was born in Puerto Cortes, Honduras, and carried her strength, and deep sense of care for others throughout her life. She was known as a hardworking, and helpful woman who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

She found joy in cooking for her family and took comfort in reading the Bible, which was an important part of her daily life and faith.

Marilyn is lovingly survived by her son; Jahelon Bodden, and spouse Samantha Bodden; and her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Isaiah, and Alexander Bodden. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Marilyn’s memory will live on through the love she gave and the lives she touched with her kindness and strength.
