Mary Beth (Borden) Miller

The family of Mary Beth (Borden) Miller is saddened to announce her passing on

December 7 in Danielson, CT at the age of 91 years following an extended illness.

Mary was born on October 15, 1934, in Syracuse, NY. She and siblings John and Barb were raised by their mom Ruth Borden and aunt Helen Dunlop in Marcellus, NY. Mary returned later in life to live in her beloved North Street neighborhood. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Miller and daughter Lee Ann Weir.

Mary is survived by her sons David Bailey and wife Beth, John Bailey and wife Debbie,

and Lee’s husband Ed Weir and her grandchildren Rob Bailey and wife Danielle, Kate

Clark and husband Travis, Ann Bailey and husband Aron, Robin Weir, Heidi Alexander and husband Kevin, and Mike Weir and wife Jen, and six great grandchildren: Caroline and Julia Clark, and Dylan, Andrew, Tyler and Matthew Alexander.

Mary collected cookbooks and recipes and enjoyed cooking, especially roasts,

casseroles and pies. She sewed, spent summers camping with the kids and helped

organize many family moves, golfed, danced and made friends easily. While living in

Glastonbury, CT she worked at Crum & Forster Insurance prior to marrying Bill Miller

and retiring to Sunset Beach, NC.

A private burial will be held in Marcellus.
