Mary I. Wallace age 84 of Newington formerly of Punta Gorda Florida passed away peacefully Monday September 6, 2021.
Mary was born February 16,1937 to Irene and William Wallace. She was a graduate of Wethersfield High School in 1955.
Mary was long retired from her job as Risk Manager for Charlotte County Risk Management Department in Port Charlotte Florida.
She is survived by her three children, Denise Lufkin of Newington with whom she made her home and sons Douglas and Chris Horan. She also left five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren with whom she was blessed. She is predeceased by a grandson Brendan Horan. She is also predeceased by her husband Philip Misisco. She leaves a sister Patricia Banker and a brother William Wallace.
Mary had a bright and energetic personality. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. Her kindness will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mary’s family would like to thank Fresenius Kidney Care of Newington for taking such great care of her this last year.
Funeral arrangements will be private . In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Fresenius Kidney Care.
Family and friends will be invited to a celebration of her life at a later date.
