It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Matthew M. Fitch, 56, of Dayville, CT. He went in the morning of September 25, 2023 while in bed. Son of the late Charles R. Fitch and Bonnie Phillips Fitch. Stepson of Sarah Moran Racine Fitch.
He worked as a mechanic at Baker's Auto and on his own for friends and family. He loved going to swap meets both as a seller and mainly as buyer, where he met many people. No matter the hardships he faced he would always put family first.
Matthew was the loving husband of Diana L. Fitch. He leaves behind his wife, Diana, their children Thomas and Zachary Fitch, along with many family and friends. He will be missed dearly and for time to come. He would not want anyone to be sad that he is gone, but happy for the time they spent together.
