Melody Lynn Sweeney of Hartford, Connecticut went on to be with the Lord on June 13, 2026.
She was born in January, 1959 in Talcott, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Nellie (Penny) Patterson and Robert Sands Ross.
She attended Talcott High School and Radford College.
Melody was talented, soft spoken voice and a love for the arts and music.
She is survived by her beloved son Jason D. Hamilton of Concord, North Carolina and a sister Tammy Patterson-Hill (Melvin) of Atlanta, Georgia.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Lotus House in for there compassion, love and care.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
