Michael Donald Quinn

,74,of West Haven, CT.  passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026. Born on August 19, 1951 in Hartford, CT. He was the beloved son of the late James Rouse Quinn Sr. and Grace (Lavigne) Quinn. Michael was one of eleven of their children.

Mike will be remembered as a fun loving guy who loved playing in adult softball, volleyball leagues and tournaments. He so loved  his Ellington, CT. family of teammates and their families. He also loved his weeks and long week-ends at the beach with his adoring wife of 35 years Janet  giving him well deserved breaks from his job as a Property Manager.

Mike is survived by his adoring wife Janet Lee (Olmstead) Quinn, his siblings Darlene (Mike) Egan, James Rouse Quinn Jr., Jane (Jerry) Cook, Tim (Jean) Quinn, Judy West Reid (Dave), Tom Quinn, Dennis (Alice) Quinn and Toni (Charlie) Taylor. 

He also leaves behind his Olmstead family who he was very fond of and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Jack and Matthew Quinn.

Services will be private and at the discretion of the family.
