Michael Joseph Ferratto Jr, 36, born on October 27th 1987, of Watertown CT, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend passed away Sunday March 31st, 2024. He is survived by his mother Holly Norton, father Michael Ferratto Sr, maternal grandmother Rose Norton, siblings Amber and Benjamin Perry (Adelyn and Owen), Lisa and Steven Davis (Gemma and Leo), and Brian and Ashley Ferratto (Griffin), and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The path Mikey walked was ever-winding, but each step he took left us another incredulous tale to marvel at upon hearing. A trail of kindness, compassion, and chaos oft left in his wake. He lived an immense life with a full heart and made a truly staggering amount of friends along the way.
The darkness now endured by those who grieve Mikey’s departure from this mortal realm cannot help but be illuminated, combated by the remembrance of his bright spirit. Whether it be his compelling character, cheeky sense of humor, or sage wisdom offered to friends with troubled hearts, glimpses of cherished memories squelch the pain we now writhe in, if only but for a moment.
It is a heart-wrenching tragedy that a nature as beautiful and gentle as his was tarnished by the curse of addiction. He was, to his core, a sweet and extraordinary man. He was loved by many and will be missed by many.
A memorial service will take place Monday April 8th at 12 pm at the Watertown United Methodist Church, 305 Main Street, Watertown, CT. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: Kairos Outside of Connecticut, PO Box 384, Farmington, CT 06034.
So sorry for your loss. I lost a sister and nephew to addiction. It is a terrible disease, people are taken from us way too soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Again I am so sorry for this loss. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
