On Friday, September 10, 2021, the Michael Wayne Lowe past unexpectedly due to complications of illness at his home in New London, Connecticut.
Michael was born in Gadsden, Alabama on July 14th, 1950. While attending Hill House High School in New Haven Connecticut, Michael was dedicated to his studies and earned a scholarship to attend Southern University. Michael continued his education and earned skills that lead him to pursue a career as a machinist at General Dynamics Electric Boat, the primary builder for naval submarines.
Family members will hold a private ceremony at the residence of his youngest son, to commemorate his life and memory in a living tribute celebration. In addition to honoring Michael's memory, family will be traveling to his home state of Alabama to scatter his ashes.
Michael is survived by his children; Cumal Gray, Lennon Lowe, Jeremiah Lowe, Donata Lowe And Elizabeth Lowe of Connecticut, his 9 grandchildren and great grand daughter; his sisters Rachel Parker, Kathryn West, Kim Lipsey, Dianne LeSuere, Delilah Hamilton and Paris James; his brother's Randolph Smith, Kenneth Lowe, and Tracy Lowe.
He is predeceased by his mother Katherine Lowe, father Ross Lowe Jr., and sisters Constance Chilsom and Phyllis Lowe.
