Miguel Angelo Zayas Ortiz

Miguel Angelo Zayas Ortiz, 87, passed away August 8 2024 of natural causes. He will be fondly remembered for his his sense of humor, his late night games of dominoes, and his love for dogs. Miguel served in the US Army in the late 1950's and last worked for 19 years at Kmart before retiring.

 He was previously married to Ramona Zayas with whom they had four children, Maria Pizzaro with whom they had one child and he was involved in a long loving relationship with Genoveva Irizarry. 

Miguel is survived by his daughter, Nancy Weber, daughter, Maria Smith, son, Miguel Zayas Jr., son, David Zayas and daughter, Maria Zayas Perez. Miguel has eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren with two great great grandchildren on the way. 

He will be cherished and remembered in our hearts with love his family.
