Nancy Ellen (Warner) Soderstrom, 71, spouse of Walter (Erik) Soderstrom, of Woodbridge, CT, passed away on December 28, 2020 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT, peacefully with family.
Nancy was born on October 7, 1949 to the late Harley and Gertrude (Sullivan) Warner in New Haven, CT. After graduating from Saint Mary High School in 1966, she earned her Associates Degree at Quinnipiac University.
In 1965, she met Walter, and they wed on July 18, 1970, going on to have 3 children; Kristin, Erik and Allison.
Nancy and Walter started Pool Decks by Erik in 1972. Nancy was head of sales and the backbone of the company. She was always known for that firm handshake and friendly smile.
When Nancy had grandchildren, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic grandmother. Nancy supported them through the many passions in their lives. She will always be their #1 fan.
Nancy loved cruising to the Caribbean, driving to Florida while listening to Flashdance, and hanging by her pool with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Nancy is survived by her husband Walter Soderstrom, her 3 Children; Kristin Bernor, Erik Soderstrom, Allison Garceau (Seth); 5 Grandchildren; Kyra Bernor, Robert Bernor, Mackenzie Garceau, Oliver Garceau, and Kayle Soderstrom. A service will be held at a later date.
