Pacifico Salvati, (Chris) 92, of Suffield, CT entered into God’s eternal rest on Sunday 12/28/2025 at Suffield by the River.
Born in Patira, Italy in the province of Naples. Pacifico immigrated to the United States as a young teenager. He resided in New Britain, CT for most of his life, moving to New Jersey from 2004 to 2018. He moved back to CT after the death of his wife of 60 years, Angela. Pacifico retired from New Britain Machine, and once the factory closed down, he devoted more time to his family and his home. Pacifico was a devoted Yankees fan, an experienced gardener, and a lover of good Italian food.
Pacifico was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Angela Salvati, and his four siblings. Pacifico is survived by his three children, Anthony Salvati and wife Nancy Salvati, JoAnn S. McCarthy and her husband Thomas McCarthy, and Mark Salvati and his wife, Latifa Benmassaoud; six grandchildren, Christine, Matthew, Michael, Touria, Nicole, and Carlie; two great-grandchildren, Remi III, and Cannon. Pacifico has many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St Joachim Parish (formerly known as St. Ann’s Church); 544 Main Street, New Britain, CT 06051, followed by a private luncheon.
