Pamela Rae Bisson, aged 73, passed away peacefully on June 10th, 2025, in the love and comfort of her family. As beloved wife, mother, mémère, sister, and friend, she touched lives with her empathy, humor and unwavering dedicat
ion to helping others. Pam will be remembered as a devout christian who found strength and solace in her unwavering faith and for sharing her heart through caring and thoughtful acts of kindness.
She was born on December 16,1951, in Kingman, ME. Growing up as one of nine siblings in humble simplicity, Pam revered her childhood with the utmost fondness and always carried the lessons and importance of family bonds close to her heart. In 1965, Pam moved to Meriden, CT, where she quickly fell head over heals for the boy next door. They married in 1969 and enjoyed 55 years side-by-side raising five spirited children. Pam found joy in raising her children, morning walks, organic meals, holistic practices, a great comedy, or a soul filling book. She also loved a really good comedy, a fun game of charlemagne, and wonderful travel, but she shined from time spent with family, Bible studies, fellowship with her Lord, and, of course, a full hot cup of tea. Filled with empathy, she could be counted on to provide selfless aid to many family and friends with meals, babysitting, care, companionship, and support through any need. She was always sure to share a love filled greeting card or letter filled with handwritten sentiment. Pam's life was the definition of generosity, creativity, resilience, and boundless love.
Pam is preceded in death by her eldest son, Gregg, and youngest daughter, Rachel, parents Hazel and Melville Lancaster, brothers Wallace, Fredrick, Douglas and Melville, sisters Francis, Pricilla, Linda, and Charlotte. She is survived in death by her loving husband, Arthur Bisson; children Kevin, Renée, and Joshua, and spouses Maurisa and Danielle; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three devoted sisters (In-laws) who will all undoubtedly miss her tireless guidance and love.
A public memorial service will be held at Meriden Hills Baptist Church, 139 Charles Street, Meriden, CT, 06450, Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 4pm. Please send any flowers to the church, and any kind donation to Renée Bisson, for the care of Dylan Bisson, at 242 Treyburn Drive, Knoxville, TN, 37934.
She fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith (2 Tim 4:7)Now she rests in the presence of her Savior, hearing the words, “Well done , good and faithful servant” (Matt 25:21). Her legacy of faith, service, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Pamela Rae Bisson leaves behind the Love that Jesus Christ showed her as her Lord and Savior!
