Pasquale “Pat” Uliano
Pat Uliano, age 90, formerly of Seymour, Connecticut, entered into eternal rest on July 6, 2021 in Torrington, CT after a long illness.
Mr. Uliano was born on April 27, 1931 in Shelton, son of the late Domnick Coniono Uliano and Antoinette Portentain. He was a long time resident of Seymour. Pat graduated from Shelton High School, class of 1948, where he played varsity football. He served as a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed as a Master Carpenter by the D.W. Smith Construction Company in Seymour for over 35 years. He was a talented craftsman, woodworking and custom furniture making were his specialty. Pat was an avid animal lover all his life and he is survived by his loyal feline companion, Spike.
He leaves behind his loving family including: his wife of 70 years, Joan Scarpa Uliano. Two sons, Patrick Uliano (Kelly Clay) of Suisun City, CA, Tracy Uliano (Nanci) of Southbury, CT and one daughter, Joni Dalafave (Allen) of El Paso, Texas. One sister, Mrs. Jennie DeGennaro of Derby, CT. Five grandchildren, Patricia Uliano of Vacaville, CA, Paige Uliano (David Zendejas) of Suisun City, CA, Christopher Uliano of Suisun City, CA, Garrett and Tyler Uliano of Southbury, CT, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A military honors service will be held Friday, July 30, 2021, 10:00 am sharp, at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT. There will be a celebration of Pat’s life immediately following the service, location to be announced at the conclusion of the service.
