In Loving Memory of Patricia Eilish Bell

December 3, 1946 – August 16, 2025

Patricia Eilish Bell, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully with her children by her side, at the most beautiful and tranquil place on earth — the Hospice of Connecticut in Branford.

Born on December 3, 1946, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Eilish was the cherished daughter of Patrick and Elizabeth Bell. A proud Irish Catholic girl, she grew up in New Jersey with her two younger brothers, Michael Bell and Kevin (Beth) Bell and her best friend Bettie Ann Gavigan. Her upbringing shaped her deep devotion to family, her lively spirit, and her caring heart.

In 1973, Eilish moved to Connecticut, where she lovingly raised her three children — Mark (Heather) Glazer, Brad (Maria) Glazer, and Joy (Michael) Dittmann. A dedicated and compassionate professional, Eilish spent many years working as a medical secretary, scheduling surgeries and supporting doctors with her trademark warmth, humor, and tenacity.

Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren: Michael, Kenny, Aislinn, Dillon, Burke, Gabe, Jadi, and Nash. Grandma never missed a chance to cheer them on. Whether at a hockey game, a play, an art show, or movie night at home, she was their biggest fan, always offering love, support, and a listening ear.

In retirement, she filled her days with friendship, fun, and joy. She loved dancing, concerts, and was an active member of her local bowling league. She brought light and laughter to every room she entered, always with a twinkle in her eye and a beautiful smile.

Eilish’s legacy of love, humor, and unwavering devotion to her family will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
