Patricia M. (Gates) Neudecker, age 85, died on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Chesthelm Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by family. Patricia, daughter of Vincent and Evelyn (Haskell) Gates, was born February 29, 1940, in Middletown and grew up in Moodus. Patricia utilized her kindheartedness and empathy to care for her residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Chesthelm Health and Rehabilitation Center for 33 years. She is survived by her siblings Harry Gates (Groton), Charles Gates (Port St. Lucie, FL), Richard Gates (Essex), and Holly Fischer (Port St. Lucie, FL); her two sons, George Neudecker Jr, his wife Marisa (East Haddam), Robert Neudecker (Moodus); three granddaughters, Stephanie Neudecker (Florida), and Cassandra and Catheryn Neudecker (Colchester); one step-grandson Micheal Visintainer (Florida); one great-granddaughter, Caitlyn Bryant (Florida); and several nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her husband George Neudecker, her sister Virginia Robida, her daughter-in-law Allison Neudecker, and her grandson Sean Visintainer.
