Patsy attended Ledyard high school class of 1969 where she was a 4 year varsity cheerleader and, member of the nation honor society. She attended Uconn class of 1973 for physical education and later returned for electrical engineering. She worked at General dynamics as part of the development of missile guidance systems. She then worked at Foxwoods Casino as a high stakes baccarat and black jack dealer. She loved watching her children play sports, but was a adoring grandmother. Patsy was known for her infectious laugh, and generosity. Her homemade meals will be missed by her many adopted misfits and lost boys who called her mom.
Due to COVID restrictions and the number of loved ones that Patsy had, the family has opted to hold a celebration of life in the Spring where more people can come and celebrate Patsys life and memory date and time TBA. A GoFundMe account has been setup to help the family with cost associated with the unexpected loss.
Sean...just saw this about cousin Patsy online. My heart breaks for you and the rest of your family. Patsy and I were the same age and cheerleaders. We reminised about these fond memories at my moms service. Patsy always had a cheerful laugh and warm welcome for me no matter how many years had gone by between visits. God has her home now with the rest of our big raucus Irish clan. Shes happy now and I cant wait to see her again. Hugs to you and much love.
My deepest condolences. Cousin, Maureen Sullivan
