Paul Samuel Vukas, born September 4, 1937, passed away on June 10, 2022 at Jerome Home in New Britain. Born in Moosup, CT, he was predeceased by his parents, Samuel Vukas and Mary Koss, and two sisters, Carol Meehan and Annlie O’Neil.
Paul was always there with a helping hand when he knew someone needed him. An avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New York Giants, he could make conversation with anyone and was always joking, even in his final days.
He belonged to St. Paul’s Catholic Parish in Berlin.
He is survived by Janet Vukas, his wife of 56 years, and his sons Paul Michael and Preston and Preston’s wife, Katie. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
