Pauline M. Baillargeon, age 77, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, May 9, 2021. She was born on March 28th, 1944 in Norwich, CT, to Roland and Irene Baillargeon She lived much of her life in her home in Taftville, CT. She leaves behind a sister, Ann Osowski, and a brother, Paul Baillargeon, as well as several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Many who knew Pauline could tell you of her kind heart, always willing to help anyone she met. She loved to work with her hands, something that served her well in her career at Electric Boat as a seamstress for supplies on the submarines. Even after retiring, she could often be found tinkering with her sewing machines and various tools, making something out of nothing. Even as she aged, she always kept herself busy. Her sassy presence will surely be missed.
The family wishes to thank the caring nurses and staff at Backus Hospital and Hospice. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in Pauline’s name may be made to Hartford Hospital at Home (Hospice Care) in lieu of flowers.
