Philip G. Fay, 73, of Winsted, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and beloved dogs after a long battle with cancer. Born on June 11, 1951, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, to the late George Fay and Jeanette (Davis) Fay, Phil loved attending stock car races at Lebanon Valley, fishing, camping with family and friends, and watching wrestling. Phil was die-hard Red Sox and New York Giants fan, Phil worked for Son Chief Electric for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lillian Fay; sisters Vicky Freund and Chrissy Moro; children Amber (Harrison) Kilmer, Jessica (Joe) Fay, Tanya Fay, Philip Fay, Josh Ellis, Michael (Bethany) Ellis; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren, Jocelyn and Raelyn (His little cookie monsters). Phil was predeceased by his sister Georgianna, brother Harry, son Philip Jr., brother-in-law Jeff Freund, and cousin Charlie Davis.
A celebration of life will be held on November 16 at the Pine Meadow Firehouse. 12-4pm
