Philip Tripoli

Philip Walter "Phil" Tripoli, 77, passed away on September 18, 2025, in New Haven, Connecticut. Born on March 5, 1948, in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, Phil lived a life shaped by passion, movement, and strong family ties.

Phil found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a lifelong love for cooking and a particular enthusiasm for buying cars.

He shared many cherished years with his beloved wife, Ruth Ann Tripoli, who preceded him in death. Together they built a family whose love and connection continue to honor their legacy.

Phil is lovingly remembered by his daughter Lynn Ford and her husband Dan Ford; his son Michael Tripoli and Michael’s wife Bobbie Tripoli. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and great-grandfather to eleven great-grandchildren. His devoted sister Marilyn Scussell also survives him.

In addition to his wife Ruth, Phil was predeceased by his brothers Joe and Larry Tripoli..
