Ralph Sal Esposito, 66, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on May 2, 2025.
Born November 5, 1958, in Stamford, Connecticut, Ralph was the beloved son of Ralph D. Esposito and Rose B. Esposito. He was predeceased by his sister, Louise Esposito.
Ralph worked as a housekeeping and laundry supervisor at a nursing home before retiring early. An innovative entrepreneur, he had a passion for creative ventures. As various costume characters—Bonzo the Clown, Rowdy Rojo, and Santa Claus—Ralph brought joy and laughter to children with his theatrical charm. His character, Rowdy Rojo, especially stood out for entertaining at fundraisers supporting children’s charity funds for medical equipment for children with disabilities. Ralph also volunteered his time at convalescent homes, providing recreational entertainment to the elderly.
A man of many interests, Ralph will be fondly remembered for his love of music, cars, and sharing good meals with family and friends. He was also a good friend to many, including Mark Argenio, whose friendship he cherished.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Ivy Esposito; his daughter, Alicia Esposito of Norwalk; his son, Cory Esposito of Bridgeport; his daughter, Dena Kelly, son-in-law Howard Kelly Jr., and grandchildren, Madison and Jackson of Bridgeport. He is also survived by his sister, Lucy Esposito, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Connecticut Children’s Hospital at [Connecticut Children's Hospital Donation].
