Norwich- Randolph Verne Leighton, passed peacefully on Thursday Febuary 4th 2021, at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.
He was born July 2,1961 in Manchester, Ct. He is survived by mother Roberta J. Wilde and predeceased by father Bruce D. Leighton.
He worked as a Truck driver and paper Carrier for many years. Enjoyed time with family and friends. Had a passion for bowling, sports, NASCAR, and music.
He is survived by his wife of almost 33years, Cherrie A. Leighton. His Children Jason Solarz wife Elaine, Nichole Shipley longtime partner Matt, Allyshia Madore husband Jonathon, Edward Leighton longtime partner Emily and 9 Grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sisters Laura and Emma. Predeceased by sister Deanna(DJ).
